This course is designed for technical professionals who are responsible for basic installations, configurations, and operation of Cisco Nexus 7000 in Data Center environment. Upon completion of this course, you should be able to:

- To describe supervisor engine and line-card module features
- To describe the basic architecture of NX-OS
- To explain NX-OS process recovery
- To explain NX-OS supervisor redundancy
- To design, configure and troubleshoot Nexus 7000 basic features, such as switching, routing, VDC and vPC, FEX

Requirements
Basic Internetworking knowledge, OSI model, TCP/IP protocol, Ethernet and configuration of Cisco routers covered in ICND1, ICND2. Knowledge of switches configuration, VLAN, IEEE 802.1w, inter VLAN routing covered in SWITCH or A2 and RS1 courses.
